in this photo i experimented with off-camera flash instead of studio lights

Image

for those who are interested, here is the setup info:
sb-800 on-camera bounced through the camera-left wall
old unomat manual flash directly on the subject on camera right

will post more photos of other events with studio lights too..

would appreciate any comments/suggestions on it :)

humm nice shot..

just my view..

it's lil bit underexpro.. i think u can fix it in lightroom/photoshop..and..i can see some shadow behind the subject .. i think it;s bcaz of bounced from left wall.. you already used two flash so if u can use one them top front with umbrella/softbox then it will be more perfect... yes i know it's bit difficult to setup light and other thing in events.

anyway i can see you got catch light also.. it;s goood :)

keep posting man :)

@amit: thanks

@pagol: thanks alot for the suggestion. you got it right, its a bit under exposed, will fix it..you're right using umbrellas instead of bare flash makes huge difference. ... i will most more photos soon from home

humm nice shot bro... 2nd and 3rd both nice... i like... but if u ask me for suggestions then i can say something about 3rd one..

as you use studio light i have many control... so see groom right side little bit burned .. i think u can fix in photoshop, and another is personally i like littel bit dark background .. it's make subject pop more... something like this

thanks bhai for the suggestion, yes my background seems to be very bright and get mixed with the subject, this is what I realized after the session :(

yes it can be fixed in photoshop, but in the above photos i have used photoshop just for minor color correction and brightness/constrast.

i will do more work on it and post it .. thanks for the suggestions
