Both logos are superb.

i think 2nd one is more appealing.

both are nice. and also I will go for option 2. there is a taste. option 1 is pretty straight forward. one comment I want to make in option 2: in the towers and buildings you put some little details. avoid those in next time. these things make a logo complex. and also when you scale this logo to small, all the details will be vanished. so no point of having those details.

now a days designer is concentrating on long-lasting logos. which is simple, memorable, bold. say for example Nike, adidas, puma, apple, volks wagon....the more time will go you will find those a piece of diamond.

may be we all don't have the opportunity to do logos for those companies, but we can do logos minimising those issues.
