Distorted Designers

This is the cover artwork and design for the recently released Aurthohin's album titled Aushomapto-1. I enjoyed working on this, particularly because Sumon (aurthohin) bhai gave me total freedom to do whatever I liked...so I was able to throw in a lot of random goofy stuffs. I thought "Why not put a song's guitar chord progressions instead of lyrics!!!" I mean, its a treat for fans who would want to knw how to play the song Well the front cover had a different art piece, but I was forced to put in aurthohin's group pic due to marketing reasons. So i squeezed it in to make the publishing company happy

The story:
The concept of the album design is as if the cd cover itself is an unfinished, packaged mail and is taped and wrapped around with an old (you can tell from the dirtyness, old pencil marks, scribbles, etc) brown paper. Someone probably wanted to mail the package to somewhere or someone. There are two post stamps, where the first stamp represents aurthohin's logo. The second stamp is an impression of "Surjo"...if u are a fan of aurthohin then you would know what that means. The cd is supposed to be the content of this mail package.

Tools used:
My dead brain, tired hands, photoshop, illustrator and wacom tablet ofcourse.

Dhanad, we already can see that you got the full freedom for this album cover which is not right and unusual...hahahaha...really....we see the only designers name inside the sleeves, but we never know their hard works. Very cool work Dhanad and it opens a new horizon for album designers in BD music industry. So special thanks should go to Sumon bhai also Waiting for the next album design

Shabbir bhai, hmm...it was amazing working with Sumon bhai, he understands how designers think. Saquib, dude...you have no idea how talented you are...you should come out more often and post some of your amazing work in here.
