you have done quite a detailed work here . .hats off to you
the only thing that bothers me is the use of two different fonts in the logo and the font for Bangladesh Students Society looks stretched (vertically) to me or may be its just me.

Shamoon Bro>>> Thanks for ur comment. Yes, you have picked the right stuff about the font. and i knew i have to face question regarding that.shamoon wrote:you have done quite a detailed work here . .hats off to you

The fact is the brand symbol BSS is unique and i was convinced to use a different font for their name (Bangladesh Students' society). Client asked me to stretched (vertically) the font of the name and i told them that that wasnt a good idea. but no way, they liked it and asked me to stick with this. Hope you will understand.
Thanks again.

nice design and the logo is great ... the color composition is also ok ... but when you go for printing I think you face some problem ... like the bd flag green ... I think you used 4color for that green ... when you print your logo ... it is difficult to maintain the registration and it is also costly ... there is a option you can use hand made color for press print ... but when you make a digital print or paint a wall it is difficult to adjust the color ... I think you used 30 to 25 percents black ... its give you a dale green ... if u think this is the color what u want ... then good job

detailed post liked the overall design. though I have some comments on some issues just my thoughts.
first of all didn't like the purple color on university text. totally out of place. maybe client asked for that. whatever.
green and red colors are chosen nicely.
in the black and white logo middle S is lost. any cure/alternative on this?
applications of the logo are nice. good job.
and really liked that you did some sketches before start
keep going

Boss>> Yeah, this is the finished color what i have been looking for. and i have chosen the colors in CMYK mood, so it shouldnt have the problem for printing out put.Tariq wrote:nice design and the logo is great ... the color composition is also ok ... but when you go for printing I think you face some problem ... like the bd flag green ... The purple color is the brand color of UMSU and University of Manchester, so i was asked to use it with the logo, though i didnt like it very much.
In the black and white logo, the s is for some exporting difficulty in Illustrator.
And yeah, i have started sketches quite a while back before each project, especially in case of logo. it really helps to generate ideas and brainstorming.
Thanks a lot again for comments.
