ohh eto boro boro kahini porte porte amar chokh betha hoye geche
Anyway lets jump in to the point... First of all I would say we should not blame them (client) always. Because its our duty to make them understand what is pretty and what is ugly...because we are designers ...they are not. And that is why they are knocking our door always. But you might rise the question again that client always try do some PONDITI on our creativity...its true...i agree with you all...but think in a different way...let me give you a scenario:
j kono din kacha bazar e giye mach (fish) kine nai take jodi kono din bazar e giye mach kine ante bola hoy then what will happen? lok ta jabe mach walar kache and khub bhab dekha be that he knows everything about all mach...konta pocha konta bhalo ek chokhe deklei bujhe jay type... lok ta emon korbe jeno mach wala thake thokiye na dey...this is very common case for us...amader daily life e amra onek kichui ei bhabe kore thaki...manush jeno amader k thokiye na dey.
ami ei example ta ei jonno bollam j ekjon client chaitei pare ektu ponditi korte...cause he is paying us ...and client chaite pare jeno amra (designers) na bujhi that he is a color blind or doesnt have any color sense.
but my theory is try to make them understand what is good for his design..if you are confident then no one can force you to do bad design...but i believe aj kal onek bhalo bhalo creative client jonmache...they know what is good and what is bad...ekta shomoy chilo jokhon client ei shob bujhto na (specially in BD)..its just a matter of time.
amar career life e onek bad experience ache but this is the main challenge...keep them understand what you are and how much creativity you have.

Yes, good example Shabbir bhai. Etai, as a designer its part of our job je client feels positive about your skills...and one of the most effective way is to communicate (jeita chhagol bhai prothomey boleche) well and in a way jeno client feel kore je he is doing the right thing by depending on you. Another way is ofcourse, let your past work speak for you...khali kotha bolle hobe na, kaj er quality thakte hobe...depends from client to client. So machwala (fish seller) er attitude ta friendly, trusty thakte hobe as well as bhalo quality mach o thakte hobe...jeita dekhe oi lokta ek2 safe feel korbe je na er kach theke mach ta kina jay.smasif wrote:Nice example shabbir bhai. finally client give emphasis to do this.i was so unhappy when i did this.but nothing to do.because client want it exactly!smasif wrote:ok everyone is blaming client for his yellow and pink colors. btw what about if his logo contains yellow and pink like the below?
we need to think how can we incorporate other contents with pink and yellow. with this design what we can do? could we add more pink/purple boxes or headers in this design to support background? Actually our goal should be to reduce surprises after getting the requirements from client. so that less viewers become surprises to see the final design.
I used one of Nipa's design for example to support this thread.
think positive, be optimistic....

ya nipa dekhechen, what I tried to say...client ei dhoroner jinish(bg, color etc.) chaitei pare. amader(designer) challenge hobe oi color gulake aro beshi design ee incorporate kore design take jaate tulano...what exactly you did in last design...purple color ta aro beshi use korate bhalo laga shuru hoyeche...jodio 3 ta box ee color ta kono bhabei jachena tar poro upper portion ta better hoise ager theke...if still any chance then box 3 tar header ta purple gradient na diye puratai solid dile aro bhalo lagbe i guess....and client might like.... what other says?

amar kichu bolar nai.. amar kotah hoilo agay client happiness then all other.. i don’t bother about my won quality caz i know what quality i have..i know my limitation....if client want RED then i go for RED.. if they want BLACK then i go for BLACK but always to make it as nice as possible based on clients' requirements...that's it..
my suggestion is make 2/3 sample and show them together.. it's easy way i think.
thanks
