I don't need to mention what "Ctrl+V" does. Sometimes we need to paste same object just one after another to make any background design or anything. It becomes difficult in Illustrator to pasting and placing again and again the same object. In this tutorial we will learn a special type of pasting in Illustrator using "Ctrl+D" not "Ctrl+V"
When you will learn this technique you will be able to do the same thing withing 30 sec. Lets start:
1. Create a circle, zoom it and make a horizontal and vertical "guide"(red marked).
2. Select the circle. Press "Alt" and drag it (actually you copied another circle from the original). Place the new one just beside the old one in which distance you want. "Guide" marks will help you to maintain the same align.
3. Press "Ctrl+D". 3rd circle will be placed just beside the 2nd one with maintaining the same distance of 1st and 2nd.
4. Continue pressing "Ctlr+D" as much as you want.
5. Select all circles and make them "top align" (red marked) to make perfect.
6.Group them all.
7.Do step 2 again. This time downward like the below image
8.Press "Ctrl+D" until you satisfied. after pasting make them left aligned to make those row perfect.
DONE !
This process will also help you to do something like this easily:
