thanks bappy for your nice words
finally I have completed the break down steps of my car. here are the steps:
1- The very first thing I did was collect a lot of reference images of the car that I am doing to paint. After collecting all the reference material I drew the based outline of the car.
2- Then using the Lasso and Pen Tool I drew selections for each part of the car and added the shadows and Highlights with the help of Burn Tool and Dodge Tool (selecting mode from Midtones to Shadows wherever needed)
3- I kept adding the details as needed, I usually work with a lot of layers which makes work easier when you want to switch between pervious or next stage. So its always recommened to keep a lot of layers and don't forget to name them for easier understanding.
4- Then I added a new layer specially for Black parts of the car like glasses and the back part.
5- Then I used the alloys from another car and adjusted it here by resizing and distorting, and then painted the tires accordingly while also adding shadows beneath the car to make it look a bit more realistic.
6- I added some small details like separation of doors and windows etc. previously the side was all flat.
7- Then I worked on the highlights of the car using gradient (as needed) and dodge tool.
8- Then I created the environment using the clouds filter and making the dots and transforming it as the surface.
9- The car as pretty done on the previous step but was lacking some dynamics and interest, so I added some reflections on the car, some light effects (like on the tail of the car) and changed the color of the back part to red to give it a nice contrast.
That's it! I hope now you understand what I did here. Hope you like it.
